Ole has decided to go ice fishing for his stag party. He invites his best friend since childhood, Sven, and also Lars, so they can use his father’s icehouse. Sven gets upset and says he doesn’t want to be his best man. He’s not a fan of the marriage because he feels like he is losing his best friend. 

Paul W. Kruse has written a very fun and emotional play about male friendship. It’s a joyful, funny, surreal, and very Minnesotan tale. In the video, Kruse says “I wanted to write a gayer version of Letterkenny.” 

Carl Hallberg is great as Ole, who is very excited to be having his bachelor party. Jeff Rodriquez is superb as Sven, who isn’t sure what he really wants. Dinah Berkeley is hilarious as Lars, doing his best to fight through his social awkwardness. The supporting cast includes Jesus Barajas, Rebecca Jordan, Taige Lauren, and Lydia Moss.
